The Hitachi C7SB2 Circular Saw

Are you in the market for a good circular saw? You can find some cheaper. But it may be difficult to find one that performs better. The Hitachi C7SB2 saw is a workhorse. Here are some of its features and information.

You have a large range of bevel adjustments. The unit is made from one piece, cast aluminum. It is very sturdy. Adjust the cutting depth with the flip of a lever. Its soft grip handle is easy on the hand.

It has a powerful fifteen amp motor. The blade is a common 7.25 inch size. When you purchase, it comes with its own carrying case. This is good for keeping dust and dirt out of it. You also get a 24 tooth blade that is carbide tipped. You also get the Hitachi five year warranty.

This item sells at Amazon, Sears, and Lowes. At mid summer of 2010, here are the prices.

It sells for $79. There is a shipping charge of $13.59. This makes the total price $92.59. You may not have to pay sales tax at Amazon.

There are many online reviews about this product. They are all very good. They average review is 4.6 stars out of 5. I give it five out of five. We have had this saw for a year. It performs very well. It is comfortable and operates smoothly. You can feel the excellent balance as it hums. There are no hard vibrations on the hand.

I like the brush location. There is a special compartment on each side of the saw. If you need to change brushes, it is simple and easy. You do not have to take the thing apart. Hopefully, we may not have to buy another circular saw. There is a lot of detailed information about this saw at Amazon (below).
